This piece is inspired by the wooden chest found in Tutankhamuns burial site in Egypt. My chest is painted with symbols and text depicting emotions like longing, confusion, death and growth. The title has a double meaning which refers to both a chest (a large strong box, used for storage or transport) and a persons chest (the front surface of a person's body between the neck and the stomach).
